Spring Break 101

Hello future fashionistas!

No matter if you’ve been planning your spring break trip since Christmas or if it’s a spur of the moment decision, make sure your 2016 spring break trip is fun and fashionable!

Here are a few tips and tricks to make it the best trip ever!

Pack light! Most airlines charge you for an extra bag so keep it simple. If you’re going somewhere warm, only pack 1 or 2 pairs of pants and a light jacket, this will leave plenty of room for toiletries and swimsuits! Something I’ve learned over the years of traveling, is wear your heaviest and bulkiest clothes on their airplane. Also use your beach bag as your carry on! Not only will you be able to fit everything in there but you won’t need to bring an extra bag that will only take up room.

Dresses will be your best friend. For starters the weather will be warm. You’re gonna be on vacation which means little to no effort will be given and plus you still wanna look nice. So that’s when you can just slip on a casual dress over your swimsuit and be ready for dinner and not much effort was required. Plus if you decide to have a girls night out, a dress is the perfect solution to being dressed for the occasion. Dress it up with bold accessories or dress it down with a light cardigan. Either way you’ll be comfy and stylish in a matter of five minutes.

The must have of every girls spring break list is the perfect bathingsuit. You’ve been hitting the gym everyday this year for this exact reason, to rock that two piece all over the beach. But if you haven’t noticed, one pieces are making a huge comeback this season. Last season it was the high waisted retro look, but this year it’s more of a sassy styled one piece. Get the old lady, covering up the pizza I ate for dinner mentality out of your head because these are hott. Slits on the sides, crissed crossed backs and even multi colored these bathing suits are the prized item on the menu this season, and don’t be afraid to rock it!

Hopefully these tips will make your Spring Break trip less stressful and more fashionable. Enjoy your time away from school and soak up those rays.
