16 Phases Of Writing Your First Response To An RFP In PR

Writing your first response to an RFP is an overwhelming task. After writing my first response for a class assignment I've put together a list of the phases you might have or will experience.

    1. You have no clue what's going on.

    2. You consider getting a head start...

    3. But then you feel like this after your third all-nighter because you procrastinated.

    4. And you can't get enough coffee to get you through your sleep deprived state.

    5. And you have to tell yourself you can get through this.

    6. And your eyes start looking like this from staring at a computer screen for so long.

    7. You get really overwhelmed like, "Is this really what I want to do with my life?"

    8. And you realize nothing you've written makes any sense.

    9. Then crunch time hits and you start stressing out.

    10. But then you get on a roll and things are looking up.

    11. After you finish it you realize you didn't use the same tense throughout the entire proposal.

    12. And then you fix it but it didn't print right.

    13. Then it's actually finished and you're feeling good.

    14. And you just want a drink.

    15. But you can't decide if you're happy or sad. Probably because of all of the caffeine. And lack of sleep. And stress.

    16. But who cares, you just want a drink because it's over.
