Meghan Trainor's high school life was WAY cooler than yours. In an interview on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the pop star had a blast revealing how she got her start.
"I got a publishing deal at 18, so once I found that out then I was like, 'Cool! I'm not gonna' go to college. I have a job!'" she told Jimmy.
"We actually left during lunchtime to go sign the publishing deal and none of my friends believed me. My dad picked me up at lunch because they wouldn't let me skip class. Thanks."
"We went to the bank and signed the deal and then I went back and was like, 'I have a job!' and they were like, 'Whew! Whatever.'"
