Do they actually attract women? Probably not. Are they constantly used? Hell yes.

1. The Dead or Almost Dead Animal Profile Pic

You're swiping and swiping and suddenly you stumble upon a possible suitor holding his "catch of the day." You can barely see him though, because his head is blocked by the flailing fish or blood covered buck and the rest of his body is M.I.A. due to his clothing choice of camo. You have a hard choice here...swipe right and hope to be his "catch" or swipe left and just keep swimming/swiping until another winner comes along.

2. Father or Not the Father?

You've opened the app for the first time in a week, and the first photo you stumble upon happens to be of a good looking guy with a child on his lap. There's nothing wrong with being a father, but when the first picture is of him with a child, the next one is of him chugging a beer and the next few are of him at Hooters, you ask yourself what is going on? You have a choice here to swipe left and ignore it all or to swipe right and hope for an explanation.

3. The Human Ferrari

This guy is a surprise, because his pictures make him seem normal, but his bio goes from 0-100 in less than five words. You open it up, because it shows promise, and then BAM! A wonderful starting comment like "no uggos!" or "DTF?" Oh now it's time for the swipe decision... swipe right for his blatant honesty, or swipe left, because that's too much honesty way too quick.

4. The Compensating Truck

You see it often, and you roll your eyes often. Some guys just love massive trucks and love standing directly in front of them to show you how massive they actually are. Sometimes, they don't even stand in the photo, so that you can get the full effect. How do you even swipe here? Right for a possible ride or left and leave him hanging?

5. The Sister or the Girlfriend?

You've come across this often... the dilemma of whether or not it's his girlfriend or his sister. If it's his girlfriend, he is messed up, because he's not only cheating on her, but also hoping to openly get away with it. If it's his sister, he's probably sweet and family oriented, (as long as they aren't too touchy.) So now, do you take the chance that he's a sweet guy or swipe left and avoid the possible douche?

6. The Rich Douche

This is a rare one, but when you come across it, you shake your head, but also briefly think about swiping right. His profile is either of him fanning his wad of cash, driving a car that costs more than four years of private college or hanging with his crew while sporting J. Crew. So... take the chance at someone providing for your lavish lifestyle (even for a little while,) or scoff at his ridiculousness and go LEFT!

7. Abs Anyone?

This is a real winner that sometimes does not even include a face or shirt. Too many packs to count and not enough time! This guy just wants you to know that he has a body and really could care less about his personality. This is a tough decision though, because he could be overly into himself, or he could be really really good at Photoshop, which is a great resume builder. Your choice here.

8. Where Art Thou?

This guy is unrecognizable. Whether it be by having photos taken far away where there's no way to see his face or by having the same group of guys in every picture, so you have no idea who it may possibly be. You spend way too much time looking at each photo and eventually give up and swipe right or left, due to the frustration of not knowing which one he is.

9. The WTF?

This guy just has taken Tinder to a new level. Whether it be by having a picture of himself holding a cat taken at various angles, or him sending messages that follow along the lines of "I want to paint you green and slap you like a dirty avocado." This guy just leaves you wondering. You can swipe right and applaud his creativity, or you can swipe left and continuing scratching your head.

10. That Guy You Forgot Existed

You've met him once or went to school with him for fifteen years. This guy pops up, and you say: "OMG I totally forgot about him!" You're not necessarily pissed that you forgot about him, but more pissed that you haven't Facebook stalked him to see how your lives compare. You have like 2-400 mutual friends and spend more than enough time debating which way to swipe.
