All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain. Time to die." Alright, what do you want to know about me? I am 27 years old. I'm an illustrator and have been drawing for as long as I can remember; most likely due to a hand injury when I was young and I think they told my mother and step father to keep my right hand busy and working. Lo and behold, they got me art supplies. Just a theory of course, all I know is hand injury, painting, and then boom...I wanted to be an artist. I have lived in Kentucky and California, and I have dreams of moving to many places on the otherside of the planet for a spell. I'm writing a graphic novel-- several, actually. I also write in general, and I live on commissions. I'm a classically trained painter in the oil and acryliic medium and I can also rock the fuck out of some charcoal and watercolor. Sculpting is another something I am in to but I would not say I am a pro at it just yet. Recently and after much struggle, blood, sweat and tears I finally landed a tattooing apprenticeship which starts quite soon. Something to be excited about, right? I've wanted to draw on people for quite some time and immortalize my art and their tastes. Looks like its finally happening! Tools of my trade: Cintiq 21UX, custom built PC, Trurite drawing paper, tons of blue mechanical pencil lead, Photoshop Cs5, Paint Tool SAI, Autodesk Sketchbook Pro, scanner and good eyes. Enough about art, now for more personality based things. -I am not a nice person, though I can be. "Nice" is for those who deserve it; not people who think they are entitled to it. -I like to cook for myself and others. -I have wonderful friends. -I do not know how to drive. -I can shamelessly say that I consider myself a radical queer and feminist. Dont like it? Think its dumb? Who gives a shit. -My mother and brother are my inspiration. -I have no patience for fake, shallow and vapid people. -I need lots of space to work, and yes I am very messy. Always have been. -I prefer my own company most of the time. -Which means I also prefer to stay single. -I do not like being touched. Also "Did that hurt?" when it comes to body modifications is a very, very stupid question. Of course it hurt. -I dont subscribe to any particular subculture, appearances aside. I like to wear whatever the hell I want, listen to whatever I want and have good people with me along for the ride. -I would describe myself as a Progressive when it comes to politics. -I am an abortion clinic escort, but very new at it. - I have entirely too many books and reread a lot of the sci fi. -Oh yeah...I LOVE SCI FI. 8D You can find my art here: http://pitch-dove.deviantart.com
