Number ten might make your brain explode

    1. Shiri Appleby in Gavin Degraw's I Don't Wanna Be

Shiri Appleby, beloved Roswell actress who has recently made a brief return to the spotlight as Adam's jilted ex on Girls, starred in the theme song of One Tree Hill, only one of the greatest TV drama theme songs ever to exist ( I maintain that California does not stand the test of time nearly as well).

    2. Jennifer Love Hewitt in LFO's Girl on TV

Ah, the days when Rich Cronin was a relative household name and Jennifer Love Hewitt wasn't known for playing a prostitute. Simpler time, really. Anyway, this video was born out of a time when JLH was the Taylor Swift of her cohort, basically dating every new hot guy who was vaguely relevant, who at this point in time was LFO's lead singer, Cronin. Cronin has sadly died since then, but the legacy of this song lives on.

    3. Courtney Cox in Bruce Springsteen's Dancing in the Dark

Before there was Ross and Rachel, there was Bruce and a young starry-eyed girl named Courtney who in Springsteen's Dancing in the Dark video, instilled in the hearts of all young girls in 1984 that there was the possibility of being dragged onstage for a loveable, if awkward dance alongside the Boss.

    4. Melissa Joan Hart in Britney Spear's Drive me Crazy

Possibly one of the greatest of Britney's hits, this one featured the Sabrina the Teenage Witch star as a kind of crossover promotion for her film Drive me Crazy starring Adrien Grenier. The song was great. The film? Not so much.

    5. Heather Graham in Lenny Kravitz's American Woman

1999 was a great year for celebrating excess, pretty much exemplified by this somewhat unnecessary remake of American Woman by Lenny Kravitz. Part of the Austin Powers soundtrack, it was obviously necessary that fake Bond girl of the moment Heather Graham make an appearance, in a red convertible no less.

    6. Matt Leblanc in Alanis Morisette's Walk Away

Friend Courtney Cox is not alone in being the love interest to zeitgeist-defining artists. Matt Leblanc was in Alanis Morisette's video for Walk Away. I just can't believe this is the same artist who did Uninvited...

    7. Sarah Michelle Gellar in Stone Temple Pilot's Sour Girl

Girl has made some slightly bad post-BTVS career choices in her life, but perhaps none is worse than her decision to be in this video. Oh SMG, get Joss to write you something please!

    8. Alicia Silverstone (and Liv Tyler) in Aerosmith's Crazy

90s poster child Alicia Silverstone rules in this video. Also all of the clothes she is wearing are back in style...

    9. Danielle Fishel in The Moffatts' Until You Loved Me

This is kind of a deep cut, but any Canadian girl with an inkling of pop culture knowledge knew and loved The Moffatts, Canada's answer to Hanson. Here Topanga starred as the Moffatts' collective love interest? I don't know.

    10. Screech in 98 degrees' I Do (Cherish You)

K but Screech is in this video. SCREECH. I can't.
