An Anonymous Hero Got This Airport To Lower The Price Of Its Tampons

A bathroom at Calgary's airport became ground zero for an act of heroism when an anonymous do-gooder blessed it with a box of tampons.

A photo, originally posted on Reddit, shows a box of tampons sitting in the bathroom with a note.

"None of the tampon vending machines work in this area. So I was forced to buy this. $15 box from Relay. Not acceptable!"

Relay is a retailer at the airport. For those without a uterus, $15 for a box of 18 tampons is a lot. You can get the same box from Amazon for $5.49 or $4.98 from Walmart. Needless to say, the person who left the note was not happy to pay so much for an essential item.

But the heroism didn't end there. After the image went viral on Reddit, a verified Calgary airport account replied saying the price would be dropped.
