An Artist Has Blessed Us All By Turning This Jesus Statue Into Maggie Simpson

    Good god, y'all.

A woman was so distraught at the sight of a headless statue of baby Jesus that she offered to create a replacement. And oh my god, just look at it.

That empty gaze. That spiky crown. Those plump yet unimpressed lips.

The statue sits outside Ste. Anne des Pins Roman Catholic church in Sudbury, Ontario. Jesus' head went missing last fall, according to Sudbury.com.

This was an actual attempt to restore a vandalized Baby Jesus statue in Canada, and it pretty much sums up how 2016… https://t.co/JiS5rHLScl

Rain has been eroding the clay head, so it may be removed soon. But until then, in baby Maggie's name we pray. Amen. 🙏
