How To Turn Trash Into Wall Art

Think again! You can totally turn trash into treasure with easy wall art made from leftover floor samples (but really you can use whatever wood you want). Here is how:

Here is what you'll need:

Acrylic paint

6 wooden sample tiles

1 sponge brush

Stencils

1 bottle of Mod Podge

Step One

Take your sponge applicator and paint a thin coat of your base color on your tiles.

It should look like this:

Allow to dry completely before moving on to step two.

Step Two

Place your stencil over your painted tile and choose your secondary color. Using your freshly cleaned sponge applicator brush, fill in your stencil with your chosen color. Allow it to dry completely.

Step Three

Take the sponge applicator and apply a thin coat of Mod Podge to seal your freshly painted tile. Allow to dry completely

BOOM. There you have it.
