Why You Need To Go To 2017 Philly Corgi Picnic

This Past Saturday June 25 was a Fraptastic Day at a Small Park in Chester County PA not to far from Philadelphia. While California has Nor Cal and So Cal Corgi Beach Days, Florida has the Florida Corgi Picnic in November, The North East has their own Contender the Ever growing Philly Corgi Picnic. Held every year as the last weekend in June 2016 saw over 200 people and 150 Corgis come out to Hibernia Park near Coatesville PA to raise funds for CorgiAid.

The Corgis were jumping for Joy at seeing the rolling hills and grass to play with 150 of their own.

The Humans brought a huge Spread of food to keep them full and happy and the Grills were always full.

Their was even a whole Pavilion just to showcase every item donated for the Silent Auction

Rains from Friday Afternoon created the perfect Corgi Playground to get down and dirty!

But Saturday was Perfect Weather and their was plenty of water bowls and pools for cleaning and cooling off.

People set up camp for the day all across this beautiful shaded park. Some shared pens and created a whole Corgi Camp!

So the Corgis were very Busy Bees all day and at the end their was even a Costume Parade.

And they even came dressed for Patriotic Festivites!

The Corgis were dubious if they would get any Food all day so they brought their own. Spaghetti and Meatballs anyone!

Some even brought themselves as Picnic Blankets, Plates, and Silverware.

And in case of needing the safety of their own Dog Houses they brought those on their backs as well!

With all that Food and Fun their if course was lots of Poop! Someone even supplied the Picnic with a Mobile Poop Factory! Don't worry though...

Their was plenty of Paper Towels and Bags to go around and everyone cleaned up the park!

We had a Record number of people and Corgi this year and we all truly love our little Stumpy Fluffbutts and love spending time with fellow Corgi owners and helping to raise money for a great cause! This year the Philly Corgi Picnic raised about $4,800 for CorgiAid!

By the End of the day the Pups were Pooped and everyone Packed up and headed back to their homes and the hotel that gets booked up for attendees of the Corgi Picnic. and Pups and People had time to Recharge and Reminiscence together.
