SZA Spoke Out Against The Online Hate Lizzo Faces, And People Need To Take This Very Seriously

"It’s been on my mind for a minute...makes me upset."

At the end of last month, Lizzo spoke out against the hate that she receives online.

"I JUST logged onto this app, and this is the type of shit I see about me on a daily basis," she said. "It's really starting to make me hate the world." She went private on Twitter shortly afterward.

Now, fellow pop icon SZA is showing her support.

"I be wondering where all the virtue signaling, well-spoken shit-talking internet warriors are when someone genuine needs defending," she said in a series of tweets.

I be wondering where all the virtue signaling ,well spoken shit talking , internet warriors are when someone genuine needs defending . Where the fuck do y’all be at for lizzo ? Do y’all actually know how to support others or only tear them down 🤔

When a Twitter user asked, "So people don't go to war for Lizzo in this app?" SZA responded, "NOT EFUCKINGNUFF."

NOT EFUCKINGNUFF . For as much free love, encouragement and positivity she embodies n shares on every app daily ? The ratios’s don’t add up . https://t.co/X4ZjV9G8uP

Obviously, SZA is so real for this — and, like, people need to listen to her! Stop being so nasty to Lizzo, it's just bad energy to put out there that no one needs.

We'll see if Lizzo responds to SZA's message, too!
