    "Seasons change."

    Who doesn't love Kacey Musgraves?

Spacey Kacey's on the cover of the latest Rolling Stone, and in the cover story, the country superstar opens up for the first time about her divorce from fellow country musician Ruston Kelly.

While addressing the divorce, Musgraves said her marriage to Kelly “just simply didn’t work out. It’s nothing more than that."

"It’s two people who love each other so much, but for so many reasons, it just didn’t work," she explained. "I mean, seasons change. Our season changed.”

Musgraves went on to say that she "questions marriage in general": "I mean, I was open to it when it came into my life. I embraced it. I just have to tell myself I was brave to follow through on those feelings."

"But look at Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell. They’re doing something right.”

Musgraves also spilled some deets on her follow-up to her massively successful, Grammy-winning, and just all-around excellent album Golden Hour.

Musgraves has 39(!) songs to choose from for the new album, and it sounds like she's cooking up something good: “We have some that venture into a Bill Withers land. We’ve got that synth stuff that we always loved. And we’ve got some Eagles or America territory. There’s a little bit of a dance vibe.”

    Consider us stoked.
