Assassin's Creed is one of the biggest video game franchises in the world.
The series has already been expanded into multiple books and a feature film, and it's not stopping there. A live-action series based on the franchise is in the works at Netflix, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
This isn't the only iron in the fire that Netflix has when it comes to video game adaptations. The streamer is also developing a live-action Resident Evil series — and, of course, there's the massively successful The Witcher, which is adapted from the Polish book series and popularized by the video game series.
Hey, who knows...maybe in a year or two, we'll all be singing "Toss a Coin to Your Assassin."
