This Real Housewife Of Melbourne Is At The Budget To Be A Political "Groupie"

    Gamble Breaux loves a budget.

Real Housewives of Melbourne star Gamble Breaux is spending the day at Parliament House to celebrate the 2016 federal budget – for the second year running.

The reality TV star created a stir when she unexpectedly turned up at Parliament House for last year's federal budget – and proceeded to have a great time meeting with a procession of Liberal politicians.

Breaux told BuzzFeed News she was really excited to be back for #Budget2016 – but like many Australians, has found the last few months in politics bemusing.

"It's so fun to be part of history and to feel what's going on, to try and understand politics – which I'm struggling with, especially at the moment," she said.

"With the ABCC, the changes to the Senate and everything, it's a bit challenging. I don't know much about it."

Breaux is at Parliament House as a guest of Jason Wood, the MP for La Trobe.

"I'm trying to learn a few things, have fun, and meet some lovely people."

"Back in Canberra for the Federal Budget!" she wrote on Instagram. "Excited about the fiscal possibilities that lie ahead!"

Last year Breaux met with then-prime minister Tony Abbott, who has since been turfed...

...and Scott Morrison, who has since become the Treasurer and will deliver the budget address on Tuesday night.

They're all here in Canberra tonight #rhom

"I'm a Liberal Party supporter, so I'm here to barrack for my team!" Breaux told BuzzFeed News.

"I've come along to try and learn, I'm not pretending that I do know anything. I'm just excited to be here. I'm a groupie for the day!"

Breaux will dine with foreign minister Julie Bishop on Tuesday night.

"I'm a big fan of hers, I admire her so much. Her partner knows my husband. Every time I see her I'm always excited," she said.

"It'll be good after a day of hard work to have a bit of light conversation."

Sadly for fans of the other Real Housewives, Breaux is the only one braving the budget in Canberra today.

"No, no one else is coming," she said. "I don't know if they really get why I'm going down in the first place, but that's alright."
