    26 Thoughts On Bikram Yoga

I recently started doing yoga, Birkram yoga to be exact. It's a 1.5 hour class in a room set at 105 degrees Fahrenheit... yes freakin' hot. I'm 5 classes in I already have too many thoughts to count...

    1. "You're wearing a lot of clothes"

    2. Location, location, location -- AVOID the hot spot.

    3. For yogis, some instructors are very intense.

    4. The room will be spinning.

    5. Yoga etiquette = Can't drink water when getting into pose

    6. Pose names all sound the same.

    7. I don't remember the last time I was that sweaty.

    8. When you hear "Look back, pull back, waaaaaaay back"

    9. Oh the wobbles... I WILL NOT FALL!

    10. Instructors talk a lot about breathing: "Let it go, let it goo"

    11. Channeling this during the eagle pose.

    12. ...but looking like

    13. That moment you hear: "Party Time"

    14. When you're done with balancing... time for Savasana.

    15. You get comfortable with the tree pose, and then they ask you to sit on it.

    16. It's really hot, there's a lot of sweat.

    17. When the instructor decides to open the window a little bit.

    18. You are also taking an anatomy refresher.

    19. Focus!!!!

    20. Instructor says: "Namasté"

    21. Clothes will be soaking wet.

    22. Leaving class is hard.

    23. Walking out feels like...

    24. ...looks like

    25. Have to admit, feels pretty good being able to finish a whole class.

    26. Ready to do it all over again.
