The holiday season is almost here, and that means it's time to send gifts to your closest family and friends, because we're not meeting in-person this year. Got it?

The pandemic isn't over just because you're over it.

If you're shopping for someone who enjoys a little adult beverage from time to time, we've rounded up some of our favourite products to give you that jolt of inspiration.

Prices may vary from province to province. Please enjoy responsibly!

    1. Whiskey for the whiskey lover.

    Kyle Richmond/BuzzFeed

Even if the person isn't a whisky drinker, Bushmills Irish Whiskey is always a great choice. It'll also make you look like you know what you're doing when you give it as a gift. Depending on how much you like the person you can either gift them a 16-year ($129) or the 10-year ($49.95). Both are equally tasty, but the 16-year-old has a definite smoothness, and not a harsh afterbite. Hot tip we learned during a virtual whiskey tasting: add a splash of water if you're drinking it neat. It'll open up a world of new flavours on your palette!

    2. For the person who gets headaches or flushed when drinking wine, try Drop It.

This product aims to reduce sulfites and tannins from your wine, both of which can cause some people to have headaches or feel flushed while drinking. ($23.56+)

    3. Or send a cocktail set!

This curated collection comes with everything you'll need to whip up your (or your gift receiver's) favourite cocktail at home. You'll get the ingredients, tools and sometimes the glassware to create the bar experience at home. Choose from Cucumber Gin & Tonic ($77), Daiquiri ($42), or over 25 more! Prices vary, and they ship internationally. You’ll need to buy the alcohol separately.

    4. There's also this tequila that doesn't taste like regret.

A bottle of 1800 Anejo against a a white and yellow fabric.
    Kyle Richmond/BuzzFeed

We have a love/hate relationship with tequila. It's usually something we take shots of at the end of a long night, and something that your nose and tastebuds will associate with regret. Enter the 1800 Añejo – quite simply one of the best sipping tequilas I've ever tried. If you or your gift receiver enjoy drinking whisky neat or on the rocks, I have a feeling this will be right up your alley. ($49.75)

    5. And then there's this wine holder for those wine drinkers on the go.

Now, we are very much not advocating drinking on the go. But fast forward to the summer months and you just need to get a bottle of wine from point A to point B safely, this neat little device will help with that. The Leather Wine Velo Holder is handcrafted in Vancouver, and will hold a typical (750ml) bottle of wine. Note: there's no boxed wine compatibility quite yet. ($78.00)

    6. And try a vodka made from... milk?

    7. A bottle of Cabot Trail Maple Cream for that person in your life who really loves maple syrup.

    Kyle Richmond/BuzzFeed

It's an official holiday season rule: every morning must start with a cup of *special* coffee. This cream liquor is made of pure Canadian maple syrup blended with fresh cream. It's perfect on ice, in cocktails and especially in a cup of coffee. ($28.95)

    8. This drinking container that lets you know the temperature of whatever liquid you're about to consume.

Two black canisters that says "Brew Fearlessly" on it next to a lid with a temperature reading on it.
    Flying Monkeys / Via shop.flyingmonkeys.ca

This "water bottle" from Flying Monkeys brewery is the perfect present for anyone who drinks liquids. It has an LED thermal indicator that displays the temperature of the device's contents whether it's water, tea, coffee or Flying Monkeys beer. The Chocolate Manifesto sounds good. ($22.00)

    9. And then there’s Walter Caesar’s Holiday Mix for the person on your list that loves Ceasers!

    10. Or maybe all the self-proclaimed babes in your life will enjoy a Babe Wine.

Three cans of BABE wine – Grigio, rose and red.

Holiday season might look different this year, but the one thing we know pairs perfectly with any holiday occasion no matter what is a great wine. A great wine in a can is even better! This sparkling canned wine is refreshing, bubbly and most importantly, easy to enjoy. ($3.35)

    11. There's also Dillon's Small Batch Distillers Cranberry Bitters for every cocktail lover or baker.

Bitters are perfect for Christmas cocktails, punches, and baking at this time of the year! Dillons Distillery uses only cranberries sourced from Bala, Ontario. The cranberry bitters offers a subtle anise and white pepper flavoured background to whatever you add it to! ($15.00)

    12. Coffin Ridge's Back From the Dead Red for those who love a good bottle of red.

    Kyle Richmond/BuzzFeed

Coffin Ridge is a boutique winery located just out of Meaford, Ontario. The Back From the Dead Red is their latest vintage of a beloved red blend. Easy to enjoy right beside the Christmas tree. ($19.95)

    13. And of course you can give greatly to the whisky and hockey lover with this Wayne Gretzky Distillery Maple Cask Whisky.
