When I bought an engagement ring to propose to my girlfriend of almost 6 years, I wanted to make the proposal as special and creative as possible, without overdoing it.

After a lot of thought, I enlisted the help of my best friend, our 3-year old pitbull/boxer mix Roo.

I hooked a GoPro up to our dog's harness in hopes that she would capture my beach proposal...and she turned around just in time.

If you turn up the volume you can hear Amanda respond to my proposal by saying "Of course I will!" and Roo letting out a little howl when Amanda squeals for joy.

Roo trolled us and turned around after the proposal was done and we had no idea she caught any of it.

We called Roo back over and the camera falls off the harness, I picked up the camera with a huge smile and a thumbs up. After an embrace with my now fiancé, I look back at the camera and say "She said yes!"

When we got back to the house to look at the video, we were surprised to find that Roo recorded every moment and helped us capture a moment that we will never forget.
