Last year, illustrator Kate Gavino started a Tumblr where she shared drawings and quotes from famous authors she saw speak in New York City.
And now all of her drawings have been compiled and published into a new book: Last Night's Reading: Illustrated Encounters with Extraordinary Authors.
The book includes pearls of wisdom from writers like Zadie Smith.
Elizabeth Gilbert also makes an appearance, talking about the concept of time.
Not to mention, even Junot Díaz is in the book talking about community and courage.
"I've been to over 400 readings in the past two years, but I have yet to get sick of them because each bookstore is so welcoming for a book nerd like me," Gavino told BuzzFeed.
