5. New technology

You are 1:1 for your laptops since you're the leaders of the school. Google Classroom will be used frequently. Your middle school teachers have iPads for our PBIS system, Liveschool. Our classroom library is now online, so you'll be able to check out and return books using the app on the iPad. We are in the future!

4. There are new features in the classroom

That old couch that may or may not have had lice last year? Gone. The wooden, clunky desk that I didn't even use? Gone. We now have a comfortable new Reading Corner that you can use almost anytime in the classroom. Just keep it clean!

3. You get to use your brain again

Sure, summer is the best. How great is sleeping in, staying up late, catching up on all your favorite shows, hanging out with your friends, and just simply doing nothing?! You earned that time to relax after your hard work during the school year. But after awhile, it gets a little boring. It's time to challenge your brain again and work hard!

2. I want your input for this new year

I didn't know I'd have 8th grade Language Arts again until this summer. I was happy to hear the good news! You're memorable and fun to teach (I'm telling the truth). Plus, there's so much potential. I can't wait to see what we accomplish this year together!
