The pop star opened up on GMA this morning to reveal the real inspiration behind the song: the frantic feeling of questioning and anxiety she felt in a relationship.

Supposedly her relationship with Mr. Styles.

"This song is about the fragility and kind of breakable nature of some relationships. This was a relationship where I was kind of living day to day wondering where it was going, if it was gonna go anywhere, if it was gonna end the next day."

"It's a relationship where you kind of never feel like you're standing on solid ground. And that kind of a feeling brings on excitement, but also extreme anxiety, and kind of a frantic feeling of wondering."

When making the album, Taylor "wanted to make sure that these songs sounded exactly the way that the emotions felt when I felt them."

And it turned out to be one of her favorites on the album, because she accomplished that goal of making a song that "sounds exactly like that frantic feeling of anxiety and questioning."

Which basically makes it seem like dating Harry Styles would be one big, giant, non-stop panic attack.
