Gossip Girl star Kelly Rutherford has been involved in an emotional custody battle over the past few years in an effort to bring her children back home to the U.S.
A U.S. judge ordered her two kids — Helena, 5, and Hermes, 8 — to live in France with her ex-husband Daniel Giersch, who is barred from the U.S. due to a revoked work visa, ET reported.
Over the past few months, Rutherford has taken to social media to urge friends and fans to sign a petition asking The White House to help bring her children back:
