Recently, HBO Max announced that it's adapting the Harry Potter series into a TV show. Lionsgate Television is also reportedly working on a TV adaptation of the Twilight series. Considering that both series were already adapted into successful movie franchises, the consensus seems to be this: Why can't they adapt something new?
So I want to know: Which YA books do you think deserve a TV adaptation?
Maybe, like me, you're still waiting to see Maggie Stiefvater's The Raven Cycle series onscreen.
Or perhaps you just know in your heart that Aiden Thomas's Cemetery Boys(and the upcoming sequel!) would make the perfect paranormal show to rewatch every October for the rest of your life.
Or maybe you're ready to fall in love with the enchanting world of Krystal Marquis's The Davenports onscreen.
Which YA books do you think should be adapted into TV shows instead of all these remakes? Why? Who would you cast? Share your answers in the comments, and they may be featured in an upcoming BuzzFeed Community post!
