15 Celebs Who Are Neighbors With Other Celebs

Kourtney Kardashian Barker and Travis Barker were neighbors for years before they started a relationship. They still have both houses, which are a block away from each other.

While some celebrity friendships start on movie sets or at awards shows, others begin in — quite literally — their own backyards.

Here are 15 celebs whose neighbors are other celebs:

    1. Jennifer Lawrence lives two doors down from Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher, and she likes to "go over there uninvited."

She told Vogue, "They’re awesome. ... They're probably getting pretty sick of me."

    2. Meryl Streep and Gwyneth Paltrow live in the same building, which came in handy one Thanksgiving when Meryl needed help finishing her cooking.

Her awful oven took 11 hours to cook the turkey, so she emailed Gwyneth to ask for permission to borrow her oven. Though Gwyneth wasn't home, she allowed Meryl to have the doorman let her into her apartment so she could finish cooking her side dishes in the kitchen.

    3. Katy Perry and Adele are next-door neighbors.

Katy told Hits Radio Breakfast, "The funny thing is, I've known her for a while, right? And I think a gal that was working for me at the time answered the door, and she was like, 'Adele is here.' And I was still like sleeping. It was 11 or something like that. And I was like, 'Okay, I’ll just get in my robe.' And we just had a chat and a cuppa."

    4. Kourtney Kardashian Barker and Travis Barker were friends and neighbors for years before they started a relationship. They still have both houses, which are a block away from each other.

On the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast, Kourtney said, "When the kids are at their dad's [Scott Disick's] house, I stay at [Travis's] house, and there's still nights when we'll stay at each other's houses in between. I get up at 6 in the morning, and I carpool every morning, then I go straight to his house and have a matcha. He has it ready for me, and then we have matcha, talk, hang out and work out together, and then we start our day."

    5. Kathy Griffin lives next door to Kim Kardashian.

She told Entertainment Tonight that Kim is a "super quiet and respectful neighbor."

    6. Gordon Ramsay's LA home is right next to Stevie Wonder's, and their "back gardens go onto one another."

Gordon told The Joe Wicks Podcast, "When mum comes over to LA, she said, 'Would you mind if I went and said hello to Stevie?' I said, 'You are not going [anywhere] near that front door. Don't you bloody dare.' ... And then Mum said last time, 'Do you mind if I take him a sandwich?' I said, 'Don't you fucking dare. What do you mean take him a sandwich?' She said, 'I thought I would take him cheddar cheese and Branston pickle.' I said, 'Mum, don't you dare.'"

    7. Kristen Stewart's neighbors are her Zathura: A Space Adventure costar Dax Shepard and his wife, Kristen Bell.

Every Halloween, Dax does a hayride for the neighborhood. In 2021, Kristen Stewart jumped in the back in her pajamas.

On Armchair Expert, Dax revealed that he didn't realize it was her. She said, "This makes me feel better, because when I jumped out, I was like, 'Dude! Thank you! That was so fun!' and you were like, 'Yep, mmhhmm' and just moving on..."

    8. Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard are also neighbors with his Parenthood costar Lauren Graham.

On Jimmy Kimmel Live, Lauren said, "[Dax] basically took what others might consider to be the front lawn and turned it into a massive driveway for all his cars. ... He rides around topless on a motorcycle. You have to just love him. He's [like] my brother."

    9. Andy Cohen and Sally Field live next to each other in their New York City apartment building. When he's in his home office, she can hear him "on the phone, yakkety, yakkety, yakkety."

Sally can also hear his dog, Wacha, through the walls.

On Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, she said, "I'm coming home from the theater late at night, and there will be bark, bark, bark. And so I make it worse because I stand at the door and go, 'Woof, woof, woof.' And then he goes completely berserk."

    10. On the Baja peninsula in Mexico, Cindy Crawford and her husband Rande Gerber own a vacation home right next to the one that their longtime friend George Clooney owns. They designed and built their houses together, letting Rande take the lead.

Their shared compound is called Casamigos, which translates to "house of friends." George and Rande's tequila company, Casamigos, is named after it.

    11. Jimmy Kimmel and John Krasinski used to live across the street from each other in LA. At least once a week, John would call Jimmy and "say, 'Hey, what are you doing?' which really meant, 'Do you have anything to eat?'"

On Jimmy Kimmel Live, John said, "Or I was saying, 'What are you doing?' so I could see if you were home or not because we would start to, you know, play some fun on each other. ... People love the pranks."

    12. Years later, Kendall Jenner moved in across the street from Jimmy Kimmel, which had their neighbors "up in arms" and "there was a whole thing with emails that went on."

On The Howard Stern Show, Conan said, "I've been in my house when I've heard, outside the house, 'CONEY! CONEY!' And it's Adam outside my gate yelling."
