A Dad Made His Kid Walk Five Miles To School In 36 Degree Weather For Bullying

The Ohio dad shared the punishment in a viral Facebook video.

An Ohio dad punished his daughter for bullying by making her walk five miles to school in 36 degree weather.

Matt Cox shared the punishment in a video on Facebook he called "Life Lessons."

His daughter, Kristen, was suspended from riding the school bus after bullying for a second time.

The now-viral video has been viewed over 21 million times and shared over 400,000 times. Cox can be heard narrating while following his daughter as she walks.

"...Let me make this extremely clear: bullying is unacceptable, especially in my household. Friday, when my daughter brought home her paperwork for her bus suspension, she said, 'Daddy, you're gonna have to take me to school next week.' As you see this morning, she is learning otherwise. A lot of kids today think the things their parents do for them is a right and not a privilege. So, today, my beautiful daughter is going to walk five miles to school in 36 degree weather..."

And since first posting the video last week, Cox has shared an update.

An overwhelming amount of parents supported Cox's punishment on Facebook.

Some kids who were bullied themselves also supported Cox's punishment.

But, there were others who disagreed with Cox's parenting.

And some who thought his punishment was just another form of bullying.

So, do you agree with Cox's punishment for his daughter?
