"And The Show Is Called 'The Audacity'" — People Are Applauding This Artist For Turning Every Single Unsolicited Dick Pic She's Received Into Very Brilliant Works Of Art

"I believe that sending unsolicited dick pics can be a precursor to pushing the envelope of consent, and lack thereof, in other ways. It's unnecessary, uncomfortable, and unwanted," said Audrey Berck, who had the idea to draw and create an art gallery out of all the unwanted penis photos she has received since high school.

Hello, internet. Meet Audrey Berck. She, like many women across the country, has been the victim of the surprise penis message from gross, horny men.

So, the story here is that Audrey decided to use her artistic talents to give these penises a place to hang. "I have been receiving unsolicited dick pics since I was in high school, so for the last almost 10 years, but it really ramped up once I was single and had accounts on dating sites after college."

But her idea didn't come to fruition right away. Audrey said she came up with the idea to do this after going on a date with a guy who sent her his "short shorts problem" (see below 🙄). "I'd gone on one date with this guy, and then later in the week, he sent me the photo the drawing is based on. It felt intrusive and disappointing, but for some reason, I saved it. My original thought was to draw it on pink paper, possibly as a commentary on the fragility of masculinity. Over the next couple of years, I continued saving various unsolicited dick pics, but I didn't begin drawing them because the intention didn't feel fitting."

"In the summer of 2020, I was put into a situation by a male friend that, unfortunately, wholly lacked my consent. The police department did not continue the case, but this situation fueled my passion for women's rights. It made me realize the voice that I can provide in the conversation of consent by using the talent I have and the reference material that is literally forced upon me," she explained.

So, she began drawing the dicks, and, once she told her friends of the idea she had to hold an art show of all the unsolicited pics, they told her they had lots to contribute! "I was overwhelmed with the response of gals asking if they could submit unsolicited pictures that they had received. This greatly increased the number and diversity of the pieces I was able to create for the show."

"I believe that sending unsolicited dick pics can be a precursor to pushing the envelope of consent, and lack thereof, in other ways. It's unnecessary, uncomfortable, and unwanted. Truly, why is it so hard to stop?"

When Audrey recently shared that she held an art show of dicks on social media, nearly 2 million people took notice.

"The artwork creates such a multifaceted conversation and is incredibly relatable to so many people's experiences. I've noticed that the show was able to deliver the subject matter in a lighthearted way because it seems that most people are able to find comedy in penis drawings," she added.

Here are some more of the pieces below. I will just let Audrey's brilliantly detailed artwork speak for itself:

Lastly, Audrey said she is happy to draw penis photos for people who ask, as long as it's asked for in a respectful way. "I recognize that this is a taboo and niche market that I have found my talent in, but this is my passion and a part of my livelihood; it's not a fantasy for me to act out for customers. I won't even draw my self-portraits by request for anyone either," she concluded.

And, I will leave this little reminder for the men here: Plz don't send dick pics unless you are specifically asked for them. K, thx!
