Carrie Underwood Opened Up About Her Accident – Here's What Really Happened

Carrie Underwood opened up about her accident on The Bobby Bones Show.

First of all, I gotta start off by saying Carrie Underwood is the COUNTRY QUEEN. Not only is she an incredible singer, but she is also mommy workout goals with her own workout clothing line Calia by Carrie.

OK, so onto what everyone is curious about: Carrie's accident last November. The one that left her with a broken wrist and over 40 stitches in her face.

Last Sunday she performed her new single "Cry Pretty" at the ACM Awards and I think we can all agree she looked flawless.

After her performance and Instagram selfie, people were saying they couldn't even tell she had been in an accident.

But, in a recent interview with the The Bobby Bones Show, she opened up about what happened. Carrie told host Bobby Bones, "I was taking the dogs out to go pee-pee one last time and I tripped, and there was one step, and I didn’t let go of the leashes. Priorities!"

Carrie said, "I've been very fortunate in the healing process," adding that she was lucky that it was around the holidays and the music world was taking a break.

Bones admitted he didn't see anything different with her face. Carrie then revealed that it happened around her mouth.

She said she thinks her scar will always be there. When asked what her son thought of everything, Carrie said, "I was worried he would be scared of me. But, now if I put makeup on, he's like 'Momma your booboo all gone?'"

Carrie, we are glad you are doing so well. Keep slaying!
