Since the #girldinner hashtag has gone so viral with over 154 million views, it's no surprise #boydinner has made its way to the stage. A man named Skye recently hopped on the trend to share his version of "boy dinner" and it has over 3.5 million views:

BuzzFeed spoke to Skye who is a full-time singer, songwriter, and producer. He said he saw the trend as an opportunity to make a really catchy song — not necessarily share a realistic meal of his. "When I saw Karma Carr’s ‘girl dinner’ TikTok I thought of the lyrics to ‘boy dinner’ over Jacob Collier’s rendition of Moon River."

"I spent three hours in my room transcribing and recording the bridge of Moon River with the lyrics, ‘boy dinner, spiders in the mayo,’" he said. He then messed up his room, put a half-eaten Domino's pizza with Ranch under his dirty comforter, and recorded the TikTok. And his song has been part of the reason why "boy dinner" has become a thing.
