Tim Minchin Has Debuted The Finale To The New "Groundhog Day" Musical And It's Super Emotional

The comedian and composer performed the world exclusive song at the South Bank Sky Arts Awards.

Comedian and composer Tim Minchin has performed an exclusive preview of the finale of his musical adaption of the film Groundhog Day. The song is a sweet, mesmerising ballad.

The performance was part of the South Bank Sky Arts Awards, which will be broadcast on Sky Arts on Wednesday at 8pm.

Minchin previously wrote the music and lyrics for Matilda the Musical, which went on to win the Olivier for best musical. Groundhog Day is due to open in July at the Old Vic, and you can book tickets here.
