18 Signs You've Studied In A Pinoy Elementary School

Here's a list of nostalgic events that can fully stamp your life as an alumni in a Philippine Elementary School.

    18. You had one of these bad-ass lunch boxes.

    17. For some reason, you become a psychic and know what's inside that lunchbox without you seeing when your Mom was preparing it.

    16. You look whiter than Michael Jackson every damn morning because of the face powder your Mom applies to you.

    15. During "Exchange Gifts", you either get a box of "bimpos", a box of panties or briefs, or any of those 2 boxes with a combination of cornik.

    14. You line up better than the US Marines during Flag Ceremony.

    13. You had one of these artista notebooks.

    12. You had a classmate named April, May and Jun and they had their own separate cool groups.

    11. You're forced to wear the same pair of underwear from yesterday because your Mom said that it's still fresh.

    10. You're eager to show your classmates this Picasso-like tool to paint rainbows and unicorns. Or carabaos.

    9. And you're like a god if you have this bag.

    8. You walk home. You don't wanna ride the bus back because you get to talk to your elite circle.

    7. You're Mom gives you 10 pesos for the entire day and manage to bring back 15 after school.

    6. You managed to survive with just fishballs, snowballs, squidballs and other types of balls. On a stick.

    5. You know what a 1/2 lengthwise and 1/2 crosswise is. And how pissed off you are when your classmates ask for one.

    4. For the boys: you showed everyone your spider collection. Which is inside a matchbox with their own rooms.

    3. Slum books. Or others call it, Autograph. Where you would know someone's darkest secrets. (evil laugh)

    2. You have a Tito Boy or Tita Baby that would pick you up after school if your parents are busy.

    1. You feel like you've just been released from prison when you hear the 5PM bell.

But of course, elementary school is what molds you to become great in the future. A happy elementary means a happy high school and college. Raise your glass to the Madams and Sirs!
