The Cast Of "Doctor Who" Tell Us Who Their Doctors Are

And when they fell in love with the show.

"I was like 5 years old when the show started and I'm pretty sure I saw the first episode, though I can't be absolutely certain. There's a moment at the end of the second Dalek story which is called "The Dalek's Invasion Of Earth" where a Dalek emerges from the Thames, it's a cliffhanger at the end of the episode. London's all deserted and you don't know there's been an alien invasion but nobody knows who's invaded us. And suddenly a Dalek emerges from the water, and remember this is only the second Dalek story, nobody even knew the Daleks were coming back or that Doctor Who itself was coming back for another season. It was so tense, so amazing, I remember that vividly.

And I'm so grateful....first, I'm a big fan of all of them but also, I'm so grateful to them because they're the only reason I'm here. It's because of all of them and all the wonderful work that they've done. The show's been with me my whole life, and I've followed it all the way through."

"Historically for me and my family, Tom Baker was my Doctor. But it's not that fell in love Tom Baker, I just accepted that he was my Doctor and didn't question it as a kid. But really I got caught up in the whole show, there was nothing else like it on television at the time in the 70's. I didn't exactly fall in love with Tom Baker I fell in love with the show itself. I just became completely addicted to it and it became part of the fabric of our family's life."
