10 Things Every Bradley Brave Needs To Do Before Graduating

Your time on the Hilltop may be coming to a close, but you can't graduate until you've experienced these 10 things.

1. Explore a campus building you've never before entered.

Constance, Holmes, Morgan, Dingeldine, Comstock...we bet there's at least ONE building on campus you haven't stepped foot in. Finally find out what's in the Kaufman Building, check out art in Heuser, or send a postcard from Macmillan. New adventures still await you during these last few days.

2. Get a Wizard from Ice Cream Shack.

A long lasting establishment in the Peoria area, the Ice Cream Shack is a must before you pack up your belongings and leave us for good. Whether you are the Train Wreck type - no we aren't referring to your weekend life - or a Classic Puppy Chow Wizard, be sure to head over for the first time or one last time.

3. Walk down Moss Avenue to enjoy beautiful homes and great history.

A house designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, homes of city councilmen, and the historic house of our founder, Lydia Moss Bradley, all sit along Moss Avenue. Keep walking and you can end up at the breathtaking Giant Oak Tree on High Street, believed to be over 300 years old.

4. Watch the sunrise from the roof of a parking deck.

Gaze out over the Alumni Quad as you watch the sunrise from the Main Street Parking Deck. It may be early, but it will be worth it.

5. Take a stroll through Laura Bradley Park.

Peoria. Nature. Yes, those two do go together. You've passed by the park on your journeys along Farmington...now it's time to finally explore the park named after our founder's daughter.

6. Grab a slice of pizza at Baccis.

It's a love-hate relationship with those giant slices of "pizza"...whether those memories are fond or not-so-fond, relive them once more.

7. Soak up the sun on Olin Quad.

As finals wrap up, plan a full day of just hanging out with friends on the quad and reminiscing about the past few years.

8. Take one last picture with Lydia.

You may have dozens of pictures or you may have none with our beloved Lydia statue, but you can't leave the Hilltop without getting your final senior picture by our leading lady. Grab your cap and gown or wear your favorite Bradley clothes for the perfect snapshot.

9. Have a picnic along Grandview Drive.

Make some sandwiches and grab a blanket...parks all along Grandview Drive offer you a place to have a nice lunch while enjoying a great view.

10. Come to Senior Celebration on Thursday, May 12!
