    Metallic Feather Framed Decor

    Spice up your book shelf with an easy, inexpensive feather project that your wallet will love.

    WHAT YOU'LL NEED

    - Hot glue gun

    - Metallic spray paint

    - 3-5 craft feathers

    WHAT YOU'LL NEED

    Studs & Pearls / Via studs-and-pearls.com

    - Paper cutter + card stock or water color paper

    - Square shadow box (I used an 8"x8" shadow box)

    Shadow boxes are available in the frame section of most craft stores.

    Step 1) Paint and cut

    Spray paint the feathers. Tip: Wear a rubber glove and hold the feathers while spraying. Leave to dry. Meanwhile, trim down the paper to fit the inside of your shadow box.

    STEP 2) Glue

    Hot glue the feathers to the center of the paper.

    You only need a small dot of glue for each feather. A little goes a long way!

    And just like that, you have an inexpensive decor piece.
