The New Trailer For Barack And Michelle Obama's First Date Movie Is Out

    The president had moves, y'all.

    Southside With You, which premiered at Sundance, follows a young Barack and Michelle Obama before they were the president and first lady — they were just two people who fell in love. The full trailer for the movie was just released, and if you didn't already ship will now:

    The film, directed by Richard Tanne, follows Barack and Michelle's first date, which took place on Chicago's South Side.

    The trailer gives us a sneak peak at how the young and ambitious Michelle reluctantly agreed to go on a date with the future president, who at the time was actually working for her at the law firm Sidley Austin.

    Barack is played by Parker Sawyers, who casually takes on his first leading role as the future leader of the free world. And boy, is that man easy on the eyes.

    Tika Sumpter, a seasoned actor, plays Michelle Robinson — the future first lady. And looking at this trailer, it's safe to say the duo nails the whole chemistry thing.

    Together, they make an ambitious, adorable, and totally badass couple.

    Southside With You will be released by Miramax and Roadside Attractions on August 26, 2016. In the meantime, let's just swoon over this move together:
