Lea Michele Has Revealed A New Tattoo In Tribute To Late Boyfriend Cory Monteith
"For my quarterback."
Ever since Glee star Cory Monteith died in 2013, Lea Michele has been keeping his memory alive.
On each anniversary so far she has posted touching photo tributes to her late boyfriend.
And they've all been pretty emotional.
She also posted this picture to mark his birthday last year.
But now she has made a more permanent tribute to the actor – by getting a tattoo of the number five.
On Thursday, Lea shared the picture alongside the adorable message: "For my quarterback."
Fans of Glee will be aware the number five was Finn's football jersey number, the character played by Cory. And now she has a lasting reminder of him, although it is not clear where the inking is on her body.
And it's even more poignant as Lea took home his jersey as a memento when Glee's finale wrapped filming last year.
But it's not the only new tattoo she revealed this week. The star also revealed she's had a coffee cup inked on her finger as a tribute to her grandmother, who died last week.
Monteith died in Vancouver on July 13, 2013, from an overdose of heroin and alcohol at the age of 31.
