1. Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness

This movie is said to unlock the multiverse while pushing the boundaries further than ever before. "Journey into the unknown with Doctor Strange, who, with the help of mystical allies both old and new, traverses the mind-bending and dangerous alternate realities of the multiverse to confront a mysterious new adversary." Consider my tickets bought! The movie is set to release Friday, May 6.

2. Downton Abbey: A New Era

Now, I'm not the biggest Downton Abbey fan, but I know the fan base is quite large, so a new movie is warranted of an announcement. You'll have the chance to follow the lives of the Crawley family, and their servants, in the family's Edwardian country house, Friday, May 20.

3. Jurassic World Dominion

Don't even get me started on how excited I am for this upcoming release!!! Dominion is said to take place four years after Isla Nublar has been destroyed. Dinosaurs now live, and hunt, alongside humans across the world. "This fragile balance will reshape the future and determine, once and for all, whether human beings are to remain the apex predators on a planet they now share with history’s most fearsome creatures." The trailer gives OG Jurassic Park meets New World. Dominion is set to hit the big screen on Friday, June 10.

4. Lightyear

I honestly didn't know I needed an origin story of Buzz Lightyear until I heard the premise of Lightyear. My younger self is literally screaming with anticipation for this. Follow Buzz, the legendary Space Ranger that we all know and love, as he goes on an intergalactic adventure on Friday, June 17.

5. Elvis

If you haven't seen the trailer for this one yet, stop what you're doing immediately and go watch it; absolutely stunning. Austin Butler plays the King himself, Elvis Presley. This film explores the life of Elvis with his manager, Colonel Tom Parker (Tom Hanks) by his side. One of the most influential and significant people in Elvis's life was Priscilla Presley who will be played by Olivia DeJonge. "The story delves into the complex dynamic between Presley and Parker spanning over 20 years, from Presley’s rise to fame to his unprecedented stardom, against the backdrop of the evolving cultural landscape and loss of innocence in America." Elvis is set to hit the big screen on Friday, June 24.

6. Minions: The Rise of Gru

Gru and his minions are something I will never get tired of. Minions: The Rise of Gru gives us the origin story on how they came to be our favorite despicable team. The movie is set in the 1970s where, amid feathered hair and flare jeans, Gru is growing up in the suburbs. A fanboy of the supervillain group, Vicious 6, Gru hatches a plan to be evil enough to join them. Together with Kevin, Stuart, Bob, and Otto, they deploy their skills to build their first lair, craft their first weapons, and pull off their first evil missions. Brace yourself, this is set to hit the big screen Friday, July 1.

7. Thor: Love and Thunder

The MCU is my happy place, and man oh man am I glad we're getting a new Thor movie. Thor: Love and Thunder is said to be loaded with emotion as we meet the Mighty Thor, the Goddess of Thunder. We should also expect to see more of Star-Lord and Captain Marvel. There's no official trailer yet, but keep your eyes peeled because I bet it's coming soon. Thor: Love and Thunder is set to release Friday, July 8. Again, consider my tickets bought!

8. Where The Crawdads Sing

This movie is already highly anticipated and has had the people buzzing for its release! A New York Times bestseller and Amazon's most sold fiction book for all of 2019, Where the Crawdads Sing has been adapted by Reece Witherspoon's production company, Hello Sunshine, after she read it as part of her Instagram book club in September 2018. The film is set in North Carolina in the 1950s and '60s. We follow the coming-of-age of Kya, a young girl who was abandoned by her family and has been labeled "Marsh-Girl" by the community after she learns to live independently. Kya has come to know everything about the Marshlands and starts to create these illustrations in her own books; this, however, gets her labeled by the local town as an outcast. Therefore, when a local man is found murdered, Kya is the prime suspect. "As the case unfolds, the verdict as to what actually happened becomes increasingly unclear, threatening to reveal the many secrets that lay within the marsh." Where the Crawdads Sing is set to release Friday, July 15. 

9. DC League of Super-Pets

If you grew up watching Krypto the Superdog, then you understand my excitement about this movie. In DC League of Super-Pets, Krypto the Super-Dog and Superman are inseparable best friends, sharing the same superpowers and fighting crime in Metropolis side by side. "When Superman and the rest of the Justice League are kidnapped, Krypto must convince a rag-tag shelter pack — Ace the hound, PB the potbellied pig, Merton the turtle and Chip the squirrel — to master their own newfound powers and help him rescue the superheroes." Don't be surprised when you hear Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, Keanu Reeves, John Krasinski, and many more familiar voices because this movie is jam-packed! You can see DC League of Super-Pets on Friday, July 29.

10. Secret Headquarters

There isn't much information about this late summer release, including no official movie poster. The film follows a young Charlie Kincaid, who discovers the secret headquarters of the world’s most powerful superhero hidden beneath his home. You should expect to see Owen Wilson, Jesse Williams, Michael Peña, and Walker Scobell. The movie is set to release Friday, August 5.

11. The Man From Toronto

Another movie with no official poster, but no worries, as the cast speaks for itself with actors and comedians like Kevin Hart, Woody Harrelson, Pierson Fode, and Kaley Cuoco. The world’s deadliest assassin — known as "The Man from Toronto”—teams up with New York’s biggest screw-up when they're mistaken for each other in a rented Airbnb. The Man From Toronto will hit the big screen on Friday, August 12.
