    Yes, the third platform of the Eiffel Tower does have one exceptional view over Paris but it gets so busy you have to wait all day to cram in with the hoards and it's too far west to gaze upon a truly magnifique panorama. Far from Romantic. If you haven't got all day to queue for the lift or the energy to climb the stairs then seek out one of Paris' other (often free) viewing points to enjoy a quieter gaze over the city of love. Prepare to feel smug!
