"Will eat anything to save animals" - Generic Animal

Im posting on behalf of the new YouTube Channel Generic Animal. The channel makes content such as Let's Plays, Comic Book Reviews, Cooking Segments and much more in hopes of encouraging others to help their local shelters, and one day end animal cruelty.

This is my first Buzzfeed post for Generic Animal, and what better way to kick things off then by brainstorming ideas to help animals in your community!! This is our biggest passion in life, and we honestly believe we can build a community that will make the world a better place all the while entertaining others.
I'm not the best writer, which is ironic I know (I'm a screenwriter). That's why I will make a list with descriptions instead.
Volunteer!
The best way to help without spending a dime is just get out there and volunteer for your community. Find a local animal shelter and if you're a minor be sure to ask a parent about it to help you out first, or another adult you trust.
I must warn you to check to see if the shelters are non-kill shelters. Some shelters can't keep every animal that comes in, and that can be a little too much for people to handle. That's what Generic Animal wants to change in the future. We want to eventually take in the animals that aren't wanted before they're put to sleep or thrown away, put them on a big farm, find funding to get them the best medicines through our channel, and good training, so that they can be find a great family home.
Donate!!
At Generic Animal, we will never ask anyone to donate to the channel. We will earn the money. Instead donate your money and items to animal shelters. That's what matters right now the most in the early stages of this quest we've started.
Cheap things to donate are paper towels. I do that all the time when I'm not having a great day. It makes the shelter workers smile therefore, I smile. As far as donating other useful items for them to use, just go on their website or call and ask.

Streaming content and uploading videos online has proved time and time again that there is power in entertainment. If you have a great channel going, and want to collaborate just email me at kenzie@gmail.com
We should all work together to do better. I strongly believe we are here for others, and not just for ourselves to learn. The more people we have spreading the word the better. It doesn't just stop at big name YouTubers.

I need to research this more, but I would love to raise money with live events. Get in touch with other YouTubers and keep it going.
I would also love to play with each and everyone of you guys so we can talk over party chat about this. My Gamertag is KickingYaas on Xbox One. Please comment on this post any ideas you may have in regards to building a better community or recommendations for non-profit organizations to look into on raising money for.
