10 Things More Onerous Than Greg Hunt Doing His Job

The Climate Change Authority released its recommendation for carbon emissions reduction the other day, in response our Environment Minister Greg Hunt (whose job it is to deal with climate change) said reducing emissions by 40-60% by 2030 was "too onerous." Well Greg, we're sorry (not sorry) that dealing with the biggest issue facing our generation seems onerous. Here are some things that are probably more onerous than Greg Hunt doing his job.

The Government has been playing havoc with our functioning Renewable Energy Target, threatening to cut it and holding it hostage in toxic negotiations with Labor and industry. Since the Government broke its promise not to cut the RET, investment has dropped 90% and 2000 jobs have been cut.

It's not a great time to be a clean energy student.
