    19 Things You'll Understand If You're A DCP Alumni

    Everything relatable to being a DCP Alumni. *The feels*

    1. You were so scared to leave everything you had ever known behind.

    2. The Welcome Housing Events were where you made great memories, and did I mention free food and character meet and greets right outside your door?

    3. Earning Your Ears was one of the most overwhelming yet fun experiences of the program.

    4. The hours weren’t always so great...

    5. All of your paychecks went to groceries and anything you could get your hands on in the parks.

    6. You got homesick - a lot.

    7. You could actually enjoy going to the parks because you had 6 months to ride every single ride .

    8. Your bulletin board in your room was covered with pictures from home and things you had picked up in the parks.

    9. You made a bucket list, and probably finished it, too.

    10. Race or event weekends were the worst because you were always late to work.

    11. Transtar. Enough said.

    12. You learned more knowledge about Walt Disney and the company than you’ll ever need to know.

    13. The holidays at Disney never looked so beautiful.

    14. Towards the end of your program, half of you were ready to self-term and the other half weren’t ready to leave.

    15. Your cast members in your location became your second family - and were your hardest goodbyes.

    16. The second you left, you were already planning your next trip back.

    17. It took you a few months to finally remove yourself from the shift exchange page.

    18. You still keep in touch with the friends you made there.
