Until recently — like, this week recently — Nina Nesbitt was a folk singer. The 21-year-old singer-songwriter’s debut album was a collection of Ed Sheeran-esque girl-and-her-guitar folk-pop tunes — good, but nowhere near as fun as her Tove Lo-vian new single, “Chewing Gum.” Next month, the singer will follow-up her pop pivot with an EP titled _Modern Love_. She’s working on her debut album now and it’s sure to be a must-listen for fans of breathy, understated pop music.
