    Over the past couple of years i have obtained many skills to which i use to achieve my goals of success. And throughout my time i have learned to hone those skills i have acquired to the best of my ability. So today i will show you the fruits of my labor with my top ten Advice for the Future

    1. Knowing your teacher before the semester

    Now many of you may find it a bit odd but the best thing anyone can do is know your teacher before school starts. Many of them can potentially be great, many of them can be perfect for you, but some of them may not be so great. If you find yourself regretting the teacher you chose for the course, you probably weren't doing your research to begin with.

    2. Creating a schedule

    Collage is much more different from high school, the biggest difference being the schedule. Everyday has a different class and every class takes differing amounts of time. Creating a schedule or setting your timer can help to create a habit to where you can basically go through each day on reflexes alone

    3. Study for at-least an hour per day

    Many tests, and some quizzes, require that you have a good understanding of the subject in question. Studying at the last minute is not only difficult, but sometimes useless as you aren't acquainted with the subject. Spending at least an hour on each subject will help in the long run because you will already be acquainted with the subject long before the test.

    4. Talk to your teacher

    Keeping in contact with your teacher is the best way to find out about the many assignments you have. Quizzes, tests, and even readings can all be explained by your teacher if you don't understand them. From helping you with homework to editing critiquing essays, teachers are there to help.

    5. Checking Blackboard

    Noting is worse then finding out you have an assignment due today, and still not completing it. checking blackboard will keep you up to date on the latest assignments or tests that are coming.

    6. Ask for extensions ahead of time

    When you find yourself unable to complete an assignment by the due date, the best thing to do is ask for an extension. asking for extensions on an assignment will help in the long run as you have enough time to complete said assignment.

    7. Ask help from other students

    When your teacher is unavailable to help you, the next best thing is another classmate. other students might know what to do where you don't, and allot of times they can help spot errors made in your assignment.

    8. Don't Procrastinate

    One of the biggest and often the most annoying problems students face is procrastination. Whether if its to catch up on your favorite show or to sleep one more hour, no matter how many times you tell your self to get back to work, you don't. The key to solving this is to make sure there isn't any distractions to being with. doing so will lessen the likely hood of you losing your focus to begin with.

    9. Find time to go to casa

    Casa is sort of like a second teacher, they can go over what you don't understand and teach you what you don't know. Even if you don't need any help, just go to Casa anyway, they might have something useful to tell you.

    10. Show up to class

    Who knew that something so easy would be one thing people have trouble doing in the first place. Class is meant to teach you information you don't know or need for you Career path. Not showing up means that you are behind everyone else as in terms of skill. Showing up can only have positives for you
