Pottery Barn, the purveyor of oversized duvet covers and matching bean bags, recently published its annual PB Dorm catalog, and as you'd expect, it's tasteful, elegant, and trendy AF.
But PB, I gotta ask: What do you think college dorm rooms actually look like?
Yes, PB, this aggressively arched lamp will fit perfectly in a 12-by-7-foot space.
And, OF COURSE, my dorm room will totally have 16-foot ceilings under which I'll make a bed defy gravity.
But with mirrors and frames and lamps galore, where will I ever put my hundred-dollar textbooks???
On the shag rug by my leather chair, of course!
And because my roommate might be a total creep, I'll definitely have to hide behind 11 tapestries.
Ah, yes, I can totally fit *three* couches that could seat the entirety of the Kardashian family.
What? Don't all college kids hang maps all over their rooms and make their beds every day???
I, too, like to keep a spare wheel in my closet. You know, just in case.
Yup. Nailed it.
Pottery Barn, while your dorm designers need a serious reality check, we'll OF COURSE see you at the mall next weekend. ❤️
Just maybe next time throw in some 30-year-old tile floors to make us feel a little bit better.
