"Hello, my fellow clumsy people. Please allow me to introduce your new best friend, Gorilla Glue. This stuff is strong, meaning you can use it to fix broken flower pots, mend your gadgets, and use it to do general repairs. I recently used it to reapply a chunk I took out of the wood of my desk while putting it together so I'm convinced it can really do everything." —Alice Prendergast

I'm an amateur plant mom, and I have to say dealing with insects is my least favourite part. Thankfully, I've only had to deal with fruit flies and these sticky stakes have caught most of them within a couple days of using them. They're super easy to set up and you can attach multiple stakes together to make them extra tall, if you have a larger plant. I will definitely be restocking these because they're actual life savers.

"I saw someone on TikTok rave about these, and I was like, 'How good can they really be?' Y'all, they're THAT good. I'm an office supply junkie, and I love a smooth pen, and these pens are silky, silky smooth. (Please forgive my terrible handwriting in the GIF above.) I'm so glad I bought a whole box of them because these are the only pens I'm using from now on." —Kat Angus

When it comes to sleeping, my motto is 'night's out, lights out.' All of them. My reaction to even the faintest of lights is very similar to a vampire being exposed to the sun: not cute. But I have a bunch of devices in my room that blink and glow during the night! My fan, my air purifier, my computer screen, and my air conditioning unit are just a few that I can list off the top of my head. Buying these light-dimming stickers was the best money I've spent in a while. I just popped them onto my devices and the lights were instantly duller. They come in a variety of different shapes and sizes, making it easy to find the perfect one for each device. I can still see that the lights are on but they're not nearly as annoying.

The regular spatula is great for medium to large sized bottles like lotion, shampoo, or conditioner, and the mini spatula is perfect for makeup bottles. I figure after using these spatulas for a few months, I've probably saved more than a few loonies and toonies on makeup and skincare. Plus, it's super satisfying to see how much product comes out. I knew there was more in there!

"I love that it works on all stainless steel products, like kettles and range hoods so I don't have to juggle a million and one cleaning products during chore time." —Victoria Kuglin

I live with two small children and, as a result, I'm constantly cleaning up after them. These magic erasers are a true blessing. Instead of scrubbing away stains with a bucket and cloth like Cinderella, I can quickly and effectively remove whatever mysterious marks and stains I find on tables, walls, and other surfaces in seconds. Like this beautiful crayon mural, for instance. It took less than a minute to clean up, and all it took was a little water and elbow grease.

I'm a huge fan of lipstick but lately I've been skipping a bold lip in favour of a hydrating lip balm or gloss. This lip balm has been my go-to because it not only moisturizes my lips but leaves a slightly glossy finish and subtle stain on my lips. Don't get me wrong, I have to reapply throughout the day, just like a regular lip balm. I just love how easy it is to create the perfect shade of pink for my lips — just swipe and go. It looks natural and makes me feel less like a corpse on the days I don't want to wear a full face of makeup.

"For the last decade or so I've suffered with dry, cracked hands that bleed of their own accord. Using this regularly has stopped my hands from getting as bad as they were before, and its moisturising effects last for quite a while so there's no need to keep slathering more on. The consistency is more firm than a regular lotion, and once applied it sinks into the skin quickly without feeling greasy." —Jasmin Nahar

"This baby will save you from getting down on your hands and knees to scrub down your toilet bowl because it does the work with every flush. It keeps my toilet smelling fresh and saves me from having to scrub away gross build-up on the bowl, meaning I have one less chore to do every week. This is the definition of working smarter, not harder, people!" —Alice Prendergast

"One week at work I somehow managed to scribble all over the front of my dress with a ballpoint pen (either that or I was attacked by some malevolent ghost toddler — the truth is out there). I thought that I'd finally found a stain that the stick wouldn't be able to tackle but I should never have doubted the 'magical' powers of the blue gel. I let the solution soak into the stain for four days, ran it through the wash, and my dress was back to normal. Moral of this stain-strewn story: If you're as incapable of eating without dribbling as I am, you need to get a gel stick ASAP." —Mallory McInnis

My hands are pretty dry already and with increased hand washing, my skin is feeling extra parched. I normally bathe my hands in cream but it's just not enough. Enter these ~handy~ hydrating masks. First, I love that they're gloves. I've tried other masks that have a mitten shape and it's hard to sit still for 15 minutes while they work their magic. With these gloves I still have a bit of dexterity so I can work on my laptop, clean, or whatever I need to do in the meantime. And afterwards, my hands feel so soft and moisturized.

These wipes are just so handy. The package is small enough that I can keep one in my bag without it taking up too much space. And I'll keep another one in the car to wipe down door handles or shopping carts before I enter the grocery store. I like that they don't have a strong chemical smell and they're not drenched in liquid so I can use them on my phone or other devices, too.

"I'm convinced that everyone has dropped their phone and shattered screen at least once. If it's happened to you, you are probably on a mission to never let it happen again (same). That's why I got these. I never used to be into screen protectors because I feel like they always get bubbles under them and that annoys me to no end. These go on flat and don't even look like they're there. Basically, they do their job and they do it well." —Alice Prendergast
