But whenever you watch them, most of the time you notice a lot of horrible things — a big one being how they treat their black characters.

From playing "the token black friend" to delivering stereotypical dialogue, these characters deserved so much better.

Maybe you believed Jodie and Mack from Daria were amazing characters with progressive minds and were totally underutilized throughout the series.

Or perhaps you lovvvved Angela from Boy Meets World and thought she deserved a greater character arc than the one they wrote for her.
