    "Making The Cut" Is The New Fashion Competition Show We Need In Our Lives

    And it stars the legendary Tim Gunn and Heidi Klum, my fellow fashion fans.

    Welcome, all my fashion gurus. If you felt personally victimized when Tim Gunn and Heidi Klum left Project Runway, raise your hand.

    Well hallelujah, praise the fashion gods, because our favorite duo has teamed up with Amazon to create Making the Cut, a *new* fashion competition show that is everything and more. Really, it's big. It's fashion. It's business. And it's giving the winner A MILLION DOLLAR CASH PRIZE!!!!

    Making The Cut

    The new show has already dropped (as in just dropped Friday, March 27) the first two episodes on Amazon Prime, and new episodes come out each Friday.

    As for the show itself, it's like Project Runway meets Shark Tank meets luxury and a lotta money.

    Lifetime

    The contestants are well-established designers — some with their own brands, stores, and celebrity clientele — who compete in weekly challenges to build themselves an epic, money-making brand worthy of a million dollar cash prize. For each challenge, designers must create an "accessible" and "runway" look that shows off their vision and represents their brand. The winning designs are then sold on Amazon, because of course. This is about the money, baby!

    And with a million dollar prize, you better believe the show offers some glitz and glam. The contestants travel from New York to Paris, making a quick stop in Tokyo. It's all so casual and not a big deal at all.

    As for the judges? Yeah, they went all out for that, too. I mean, NAOMI CAMPBELL???? That's, ugh, A BIG DEAL.

    There's also Nicole Richie (yeah, like THE Nicole Richie), Chiara Ferragni aka The Blonde Salad, former editor-in-chief of Vogue Paris Carine Roitfeld, and clothing designer Joseph Altuzaarra.

    Talk about a stacked judging panel.
