15 Burning Questions I Need Answered After Finishing "You" Season 3

    Listen, y'all, I'm gonna skip the cute intro because we really need to talk about what the hell went down in Season 3 of You.

    While it was incredible to see everyone's favorite murder couple try to navigate parenting, new jobs, and making friends in suburbia, it all came to a head in a wild finale filled with murder, dismembered toes, and a fun trip to Paris.

    No, I did not make that up. Yes, it is as chaotic as it sounds.

    Since we'll have to wait at least another year for Season 4, here are just some of the questions I desperately need answered in the meantime:

    1. How did no one notice Joe and Love building a literal murder cage in their basement?

    I know they waved the cage away when Gil was in it as a "storage place," but are you telling me NO ONE thought it was weird the new bakery owners were bringing in panels of BULLETPROOF glass inside?

    2. Why wasn't Love suspect number one when Natalie disappeared, since she was THE LAST PERSON TO SEE HER?!

    Come on, guys, this is crime solving rule number one: the last person to see the victim is always the prime suspect!!

    3. How did a trained therapist not realize she was counseling two murderers?

    She must've gotten her degree from a cereal box, tbh.

    4. If Madre Linda was so heavily surveilled, how did no one notice multiple bodies being moved around town?

    Joe moved not one, but TWO dead bodies with no one being the wiser. Please make it make sense.

    5. Why didn't Joe and Love just kill Sherry and Cary after they overheard Love's confession about killing Natalie?

    I know they used the cage this season as a "time out," but the Conrads heard everything, so it would've made way more sense just to kill them instead of holding them hostage.

    6. How could Joe be so reckless about murdering Ryan when there was a chance it could've been tied back to Marienne?

    Yes, yes, I know he "loves" her, but Joe is smarter than that. His "protection" plan could've gone so sideways so fast. 

    7. Why would Love's mother wait until the two were married with a BABY to reveal that she believed Love murdered her first husband?

    I'm all for protecting your kids, but maybe warn your daughter's future husband that he might be murdered if he pisses her off too much. It's the polite thing to do.

    8. Will anyone figure out that Joe isn't really dead?

    The town of Madre Linda may believe he's gone, but maybe Theo or his dad will find something while Joe's in Europe?? There's no way this secret stays buried for long.

    9. Why was everyone in Madre Linda so quick to believe Love was a secret serial killer?

    Look, I get Love wasn't the town's prom queen, but everyone went from zero to "yeah, she's definitely a murderer" in about five seconds. I mean, the Conrads knew that Love AND Joe both kept them trapped, so this leap in logic doesn't make much sense.

    10. How will Ellie survive now that Joe can't send her any more money?

    Sweet baby Ellie, she deserves so much better than this.

    11. Will Paco, Ellie, and Theo form a super team to take down Joe once and for all?

    Bodies aren't the only thing Joe Goldberg seems to leave in his wake, as there are now three young people (Henry excluded) who are forever traumatized by his actions. Honestly, this team-up would be better than any Avengers movie.

    12. Did Marienne and her daughter go back to Paris?

    The last time we saw Marienne, Love was bursting her rose-colored Joe bubble and telling her to run somewhere he couldn't find them. And with Joe currently being in the city of love, I can only hope Marienne stayed far, far away from Paris.

    13. Is Love going to return as a member of the lady ghost squad?

    Beck appeared a bit in Season 2 as a ghostly reminder of Joe's horrendous crimes. Maybe Love and Beck can join forces to not let Joe have any moment of peace.

    14. Will Joe make an effort to see his son again? And if so, is he going to kidnap him away from his new family?

    Joe's not perfect, sure, but he seemed to be genuinely growing into his role of a father. He didn't want to leave Henry behind when he faked his death; he did it so Henry could have a chance at a better life. But once he's established in a new place, will he ever try to go back for his offspring????

    15. And finally, when will Sherry and Cary get the spinoff show they deserve?

    It's wild that two of the characters I hated so much in Episode 1 became my favorite characters by Episode 10. Sherry and Cary are the chaotic couple Joe and Love wished they were. I'd honestly watch an entire season of the Conrads rebuilding their marriage after escaping the cage.
