Reasons you wanted to go on it: This gameshow had EVERYTHING. Go Karts, Ball Pits, Gunge tanks and the best jungle gym known to man. The thought of winning some ‘Trendy Trainers’ was enough to send you hyper at the age of 7.

2. Finders Keepers

Reasons you wanted to go on it: First of all, it was hosted by the guy who did Art Attack, so that was a prize in itself. And you basically got to trash an entire house without your mum shouting at you. Win win!

Reasons you wanted to go on it: This one is pretty self explanatory, YOU LITERALLY GOT TO GUNGE YOUR ADULT NEMESIS. And for any 90’s British Kid who had their priorities in check, meeting Dave Benson Phillips was your life goal. All together now… CRANK HIM UP!

4. Raven

Reasons you wanted to go on it: You got to dress up as a medieval warrior and spend three weeks hanging round with a Scottish guy who was dressed like a member of the Night’s Watch. (Which seems even cooler now!) You’ve faced tougher assault courses on the climbing frames in the park, so you knew you could take on the Way of the Warrior and come out on top.

5. Crystal Maze

Reasons you wanted to be on it: Being on Crystal Maze was the ultimate gameshow goal for every kid that lived through the 90’s - even though you weren’t old enough to apply. You spent your Thursday nights laughing at fully grown adults that couldn’t put together a five piece puzzle. FOOLS!

Reasons you wanted to be on it: This was the ~even more awesome~ kids version of Crystal Maze. You spent your school days wondering which of your friends you would pick to be on your team and steered clear of those who you knew wouldn’t have what it takes. Reasons you wanted to be on it: 50/50 was basically a show were two rival* schools got to fight each other to the death** in order to win some kind of early 00’s digital equipment. Oh, and it was the best excuse to get your entire year group off school for the day.

Reasons you wanted to be on it: You were convinced that because you were a really small kid who loved PE lessons, you could absolutely rinse the Gladiators on the Gauntlet and take on the Travelator without breaking a sweat. Plus, you just wanted to hang out with Hunter ‘cause he was reaaaaally fit.
