Promising review: "This is very little, but a big hit! It's a bit bigger than the palm of my hand. We used this in place of a birthday card for my dad’s 70th birthday. Everyone (seven adult children, spouse, and grandkids) was able to fill in the blanks and sign their name to each page! The answers that people filled in the blanks with were so special! There were some hilarious responses, some super sweet, and all in all it was a total hit of a little gift! It truly evokes lots of awesome memories and my dad, who is a total alpha male, was choked up with all the love and affirmation that was exemplified through our little sayings. It's super special and I’m so glad I found this! A gem, for sure!" —zacknabi

Promising review: "I think this might be one of the best things I've ever bought on Amazon. I bought one sheet for my mom for Christmas and they just came. She hasn't seen them but I know they'll crack her up. They look fantastic. I'll definitely buy more!" —Claudia Basile

Promising review: "I got this for my girlfriend for Christmas. She loves getting cheese boards when we go out to eat, so I figured she would enjoy making her own. We've used it multiple times since purchasing, and she loves it. Not only it is big enough to fit a plethora of finger foods for a group of people, but comes with four cheese knives stored inside the board. It's a nice looking wooden board that would look great at parties. The only issue we've had is cleaning the inside of the cheese board where the knives are stored. It doesn't come apart easily, making it difficult to clean. Other than that, it's been a wonderful gift and I would give it again to friends and family." — Dolmanet

Promising review: "What a great product! We bought two cameras for our wedding as a guest book idea. We took a couple pictures as soon as we got them and we're totally in love! Growing up with instant cameras as our primary source of photography, my husband and I both were sent back a few years. The quality of the pictures is better than expected, the camera is super easy to use. We're looking forward to not only using it at our wedding but for future pictures to capture our special moments in a vintage-y sort of way. I'd definitely recommend this camera to anyone and everyone!" —Krista PRuske

The stool helps you comfortably assume a squatting posture, which is the prime position for emptying your bowels with ease.
Promising review: "I love the Squatty Potty and you will too. It works like a charm. You'll wonder how you got along without it all these years. Think of your bowels turning into a laundry chute! That's the best way I can explain it. You will have more time on your hands once you own a Squatty Potty. You go into the bathroom and you're out in seconds, not 10, 15, or 20 minutes as in the past. Business owners should buy these for their bathrooms, because their employees would take less time on bathroom breaks, really! In fact, if the government would invest in these for every bathroom, the legislative process would speed up. You'll be glad you got one, for those from five to 95!" —campromise

Promising review: "I'm VERY picky about sweaters and how they fit. This sweater is flattering, soft, and warm, and the color is very rich. The snap buttons are really stylish. My teen has the green one in a medium and I have the royal blue in an XL, and both fit perfectly for each of us. Both look great. Quite impressed with the quality. Would definitely buy again and gift to others." —SoHappy

Promising review: "These are the most comfortable socks ever!!! The cuffs are snug, but not tight, and foot part is roomy, but not too much. I could live in these socks. We gave them as gifts to all the women in the office and they all raved about them. After two months of continual wear, they are still as soft as the day I got them. I plan on buying a lot more." —wifefirst

This is a personal fave among my family and friends. You can play with up to eight players, and there's even a solitaire variation. The different ways to play are all outlined in the instruction booklet, but the basic gist is this: you divvy up the letters between the players, and see who can use all of them up by creating a Scrabble-like grid of words first. I personally love it because it's much more fast-paced than Scrabble, and you're challenging yourself just as much as the other players. It's also really fun that you can move the letters around as you go, so even if you make a word you can go back and change it to suit your strategy.
Get it from Barnes & Noble for $14.95 or get an extra-large bag with double the letters from Amazon for $19.14.
Because the sterling silver letter studs on the right are sold individually, you could mix and match them to make their initials, or the first letter of your name and theirs. Or you could just get one to pair as part of an ear party with some delicate studs like the ones on the left!

Promising review: "We got the 17 oz. size in yellow. Impressively high quality, great color and material. Kept water cold overnight — the ice cubes in the bottle didn't fully melt. It appears to be completely comparable to the more expensive Hydro Flasks in my opinion. We purchased it for our 15-month-old daughter who prefers to drink out of mom and dad's Hydro Flasks instead of her sippy cups or regular cups, but since our bottles are 40 oz. they were too heavy for her to hold and she kept dropping them. We got this more cost-effective option for her knowing that she will probably drop it frequently, but so far it has held up through a few crashes to the floor without any dents! We will definitely be buying again in the future if we need to replace or supplement our current inventory :)" —Amazon Customer

The kit includes a saliva collection tube with a container and specimen bag, plus a prepaid package for them to send it out for lab testing. Then, they'll get their results on 23andMe's website within six to eight weeks. The site provides all kinds of cool information, from DNA relatives who are already in the database to a breakdown of ancestry by region. They'll be able to see a timeline of which generations of ancestors likely came from which places, and even see how genetically predisposed they are to all kinds of traits, from dimples to disliking cilantro!!!
Promising review: "So I did the DNA test a while ago, the test was simple, and I got my results in six weeks. Whats kind of cool about it is that in my case some of my results have changed slightly over time. The more genetic info they get from all over the world, apparently the more accurately they can pinpoint your results. I like that even though it was a one-time purchase, they still update your profile to the most accurate results they have. I actually just checked it again today and they narrowed down even more of my results. Plus it's pretty cool to see where your ancestors came from." —caro_

Promising review: "I live on the river, and we kayak and tube all the time. We've spent lots of money on waterproof products that never work long after getting splashed. I actually dropped this one and submerged it under water accidentally, but we've used it four times since — it didn't phase it. I LOVE IT! It's very loud and the acoustics are great! It's so easy to connect, and it has a bag to keep it in. I've spent seven times more on others that weren't nearly as good! Update: Two months later, it still works great, after being dropped and splashed in river and after several trips down the river, tubing, and biking. And we can use it for two days without recharging before battery dies. The BEST EVER!!!!!" —Shine.bright.baby

Promising review: "I love this foot roller. It does what you would expect only better, and is also way better quality than you'd expect. The wood is great, and it feels extremely sturdy even with all my weight on it. I got this because my feet started hurting. It turned out I just needed to throw away my favorite pair of shoes as they had gotten old and the sole was warped, but this thing is amazing and provided relief from the pain they caused. I'm going to get one for my aunt for Christmas because she has plantar fasciitis, and this would really give her some relief. I use it all the time even when my feet feel great; it's so stimulating and relaxing. I recommend this as a great gift for yourself or anyone!" —N. Carothers

Promising review: "What's great about this book is that anyone can use it. You can give it as a gift to a young child or a grandparent. What's so amazing about this type of record-keeping is that it can be passed down for generations to come. It's so much better than hearing twisted stories from a wacky aunt! Now you know the information is true, because you're hearing it from the source." —Alice

It's got a microfiber tip on one side and the WORLD'S SOFTEST retractable bristles on the other. I've already ordered some of these for each of my family members' stockings!
Promising review: "This is the little gadget I didn't know I needed. My laptop was a mess. I barely ever clean it. This little retractable brush is soft but got away the hidden crumbs. The microfiber cleaner is a microfiber cover over a firm base. It's small but effective. You can clean both the brush on the microfiber with basic soap and water. Like most Oxo products, it's well-made. I have to say that I Iike it more than I thought I would. My laptop has never looked so good!" —jeanneserenity

Promising review (for the Echo Dot): "I was always curious about Alexa; I wanted one, but never wanted to spend the money. Last month I put it on my Christmas list on a whim, and that was one of the best gifts I’ve ever asked for. I’ve always been an Apple person, but Siri isn’t even in the same generation as Alexa. Alexa is far more advanced than even my millennial mind expected. Imagine making dinner and simply asking for any NPR program, slow relaxing jazz, '70s disco, Cher or any other genre/podcast/artist you could possibly desire and it immediately comes true in a sound quality that is next to none. Alexa does that. She answers questions, responds to compliments, adds to your grocery list, continues the conversation, and can teach you a little something about everything. I bought a second Echo just days after receiving the first one. This product isn’t overrated, it’s the standard and you should have one!" —Isaac Unruh
