Top 5 Reasons Why You Should Attend The 2nd-Year Success Seminar

It's been 1 year since Preview and Warrington Welcome. Chances are, you forgot some of the information that will help you during your college career, and ultimately lead to a successful graduation. Lucky for you, the advisors in the Heavener School of Business are here to help you get back on track. Here are 5 ways the 2nd-year Success Seminar can help you:

1. It makes the next three years at UF a little easier

Sorry, there's nothing we can do about the difficulty of the classes (aka Finance)

2. Who doesn't want to study abroad or get an internship?

Fun fact: You can do both!

3. It's a great way to make new friends

The Gator Nation is everywhere! Believe it or not, there's a good chance you will be working with other Gators. Now is a good time to start meeting those new friends.

4. All the e-mails will stop

Who likes to receive tons of emails? No one! By attending a session, you will stop receiving the sign-up and reminder e-mails about the 2nd-year Success Seminar. One catch: you'll receive a survey e-mail once you attend a session.

5. Well... it's mandatory!

All second year business gators have to attend 2nd-year Success Seminar. A hold will be placed on your account until you attend a session. So if you want to register for classes during advanced registration, make sure not to miss it. Here's a tip: Arrive early! If you are more than 3 minutes late, you will have to register for another session.
