From Garrison Keillor's Chicago Tribune piece 'The braggart with the ducktail who would be president.'

Donald Trump!

“A man who could never be elected city comptroller is running for president.”

George W. Bush!

“[He] is unusually incurious, abnormally unintelligent, amazingly inarticulate, fantastically uncultured, extraordinarily uneducated, and apparently quite proud of all these things.”

“When the war came you ran for your life, as your businesses dried.”

"The New York Times treats you like the village idiot.”

“Did you hear what you wanted to hear? Did they take you and make you believe it was clear? When they made you commander and you couldn’t be it?”

Okay, this one's probably not entirely fair. I'm sure it's been said verbatim about both politicians, but in this case, it was Ron Reagan Jr. about George W. Bush!
